Pikes Peak 2011 (Welcome Jalopnik Visitors!)
I had the opportunity to check out the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. The brutal climb is the second longest running race in North America with 156 turns reaching the 14,115 foot peak. Sadly you need to pick 1 turn and stay put for obvious safety reasons . To get a good “seat” you need to leave your hotel around 3:00am to join the MASSIVE crowd.

Love the pics Will. Insanely jealous of your opportunity to see this epic race. Looks like you had a good corner too. I saw your reply on Jalop about commenting here for a desktop size pic. I was hoping to be able to splash that Motul Impreza across my computer. I’m sure I won’t get much work done afterwards, but hey. It doesn’t need to be anything crazy as far as size goes, I’m only on a screen with 1600×900 support.
